During the summer of 2021, I received an invitation to be interviewed for a magazine called Poduzetnik, the most significant informative and educational platform for entrepreneurs in Croatia and the region, as well as for Croatians scattered around the world. We discussed my beginnings, the entrepreneurial mindset, sustainability, and, of course, the products representing the Art Shop Unique brand.

For those unfamiliar with me, this interview serves as a great opportunity to get to know me through my business and creative journey. In essence, I have been crafting jewelry since childhood, with my creativity stemming from a love for creating things with my hands. In 2008, as a 21 year old student, I opened my store in Primošten and started working with diverse materials, particularly the limestone from the island Brač, and highlighting the importance of local production, handmade craftsmanship, and originality. The support of my parents and the entrepreneurial environment during my childhood played a crucial role in my professional development.

Through experience, I’ve learned to adapt to the market, embrace mistakes, and always strive for improvement. I actively participate in ecological trends, aiming to responsibly develop my business. Quality partnerships among artisans and craftsmen inspire me so in my store you can also find products made by other local small-scale producers.
